California Standards Test
This spring, Mirus Secondary School students along with public school students throughout California, will participate in California’s Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program. Students, grades seven through eleven, from our school will take the California Standards Tests between April 28, 2010 and May 7, 2010. |

MIRUS SENIOR WINS ART INSTITUTE ESSAY CONTEST
Logan Lehman, a senior at Mirus Secondary School in Hesperia, won the Art Institute of California’s Essay Contest for high school seniors. Lehman took home the Art Institute’s first place prize—a $5,000 college scholarship. |

Algebra 1 Class
This class involves direct instruction in Algebra 1 topics with Mrs. Arellano from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday. |

CAHSEE Mathematics Workshop
The CAHSEE Math Workshops are designed to help students understand the key concepts and principles of geometry with a focus on measurements. The workshop will also cover an introduction to algebra with a focus on functions. Workshops are offered Monday through Thursday. |
